Backyard Busy Scavenger Hunt

1 point posted August 23, 2010

I’ll bet you have no idea what you might have in your back yard. If you don’t have a backyard, you can do this activity in your local park or other safe and supervised area.

Here is a challenge:
See if you can find the following things in your back yard:
o       A worm
o       A stone that has more than 2 different colours
o       3 different plants (you don’t need to pick them, just find them.)
o       3 kinds of bugs
o       A hole dug by an insect or animal
o       A piece of garbage
o       Something valuable
o       Something red
o       Something smelly
o       Something old

Any other ideas? Who found them first? Did you work in teams?
End the challenge by seeing who can run around the house the fastest!
